Gavin Whittaker (born 13 January 1970 – died 6 January 2017) was an Australian professional rugby league player. He was known for playing as a prop forward. He played for two main teams: the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and the Gold Coast Chargers.

Gavin Whittaker was born on January 13, 1970. His hometown was Pittsworth, Queensland, which is a town in Queensland, Australia.
Playing Rugby League
Gavin Whittaker began his professional rugby league career in 1993. He made his first big game appearance for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. This happened in Round 16 of the 1993 season, when they played against Balmain.
He continued to play for Canterbury until the end of the 1995 season. Although the team won the championship that year, Gavin was not part of the final team that played against Manly.
After leaving Canterbury, Gavin joined the Gold Coast Chargers. He played for them from 1996 to 1998. During his time with the Chargers, he played in 31 games.
Later Life and Legacy
Gavin Whittaker passed away on January 6, 2017. He died from stomach cancer at his home in Parkwood, Queensland. This was just one week before his 47th birthday.
