Gayle Chong Kwan (born in 1973) is an artist who lives in London. She creates amazing art using photography, installations, and videos. Her work has been shown all over the world.
Gayle is famous for building large, detailed scenes and taking pictures of them. She often uses recycled materials, things she finds, and information from history. Her art is sometimes displayed in public places for everyone to see.
Learning and Art Studies
Gayle Chong Kwan has studied many interesting subjects. She went to the University of Manchester and earned a degree in Politics and Modern History. There, she focused on how countries changed after being ruled by others, especially in Africa.
Later, she studied Communications at the University of Stirling. She then went on to study Fine Art at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. She is also doing advanced research in Fine Art at the Royal College of Art in London.

About Gayle's Life
Gayle Chong Kwan was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. Her mother is Scottish, and her father is Chinese-Mauritian. Today, she lives in Leytonstone, London, with her two sons.
