Where is Gazette Located?

Gazette is about 6.5 miles west of a town called New Hartford. It's also very close to the line that separates Pike County from Audrain County. This county line is just 1.3 miles to the west, along a road known as Missouri Route K.

A Glimpse into Gazette's History

Gazette once had its very own post office! This post office opened in 1887. It helped people send and receive mail for many years. However, it eventually closed its doors in 1932. No one is quite sure why this community was given the name "Gazette." It remains a little mystery from the past!
