  • Faculty of Engineering
    • Department of Engineering Physics

This department teaches students about engineering physics. They learn to do both practical and theoretical research. Students get hands-on experience in labs. They also learn how physics is used in industries during summer internships.

Students can earn Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. degrees. Graduates can work in many fields. These include telecommunications, hospitals, and research labs. They can also work in power stations and schools.

There are only five Engineering Physics Departments in Turkey. Each one focuses on different things.

    • Department of Computer Engineering
    • Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering

This department teaches students about electrical and electronics engineering. They learn to do practical research and solve problems. The labs help students get hands-on experience. Students earn a Bachelor's degree after four years.

This program started in 1977. Students can choose to focus on areas like telecommunications or power systems. They can also study microwave technology or computer science. The department also offers Master's and Ph.D. degrees.

    • Department of Industrial Engineering

Industrial Engineering (IE) is about making systems work better. This includes designing production lines and managing operations. It also covers quality control and using computers for design.

Students start with basic engineering courses. Later, they take special IE courses. These courses teach them about manufacturing and how to improve processes. They also learn about ergonomics, which is how people interact with systems.

Industrial engineers help with tasks like scheduling production. They also design factory layouts. They use math and statistics to solve complex problems.

    • Department of Civil Engineering

The Civil Engineering department has labs for different studies. These include construction materials and structural mechanics. They also cover transportation and water resources. These labs are used for teaching, research, and helping industries.

Students who finish the program earn a Bachelor's degree. They also get practical experience through summer internships. In their last year, students can choose advanced courses.

The department also offers a Master's degree. Students can specialize in areas like construction materials or transportation.

    • Department of Food Engineering

This department teaches students about food engineering. They learn how to produce, keep, and deliver food safely. The courses cover everything from raw ingredients to the final product.

Graduates can work in many roles. These include managing production and developing new products. They can also design food processing systems. Food engineers are important for keeping food fresh and safe.
