Gentle Thunder, whose real name is Lisa Carpenter, is an American musician. She is well-known for playing the Native American flute. In 2006, Gentle Thunder released an album called Beyond Words. She worked on this album with two talented musicians, Will Clipman and Amochip Dabney. These musicians also play with the famous artist R. Carlos Nakai.
Grammy and Native American Music Awards
Beyond Words was a very successful album. In 2007, it was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best New Age Album category. The Grammys are one of the biggest awards in music!
