Geordi Peats was born on 11 April 1969. He is an Australian former professional rugby league player. Geordi played rugby league in the 1980s and 1990s. He played for two famous teams: the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and South Sydney. Geordi mostly played as a hooker (hooker). He is also the father of another rugby league player, Nathan Peats.

Geordi Peats' Rugby League Journey

Geordi Peats started his professional rugby league career in 1989. He joined the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs team.

Starting with the Bulldogs

Geordi played his very first top-level game in round 11 of the 1989 season. He played as a hooker for Canterbury. His team won that game 16–2 against the Parramatta Eels. The match took place at Belmore Sports Ground.

In his first year with the Bulldogs, Geordi also led the Under 21 team as captain. By 1990, he was a regular player in the reserve grade team. In 1991, he became a regular player in the first-grade team.

Key Moments with Canterbury

In round 1 of the 1991 season, Geordi was named "man of the match". This was for the Bulldogs' 26–16 win over the Balmain Tigers. That exciting game was held at Leichhardt Oval.

Geordi scored his first try in a top-level game in round 9 of the 1991 season. This happened during the Bulldogs' 18–16 loss to the Canberra Raiders at Bruce Stadium. After 1991, he spent most of the next three seasons playing in the reserve grade. His time with Canterbury ended after the 1994 season.

Moving to Other Teams

After leaving Canterbury, Geordi signed with the St. George Dragons for the 1995 season. However, he faced many injuries before the season even began. Because of these injuries, he could not play any games that year. He left St. George at the end of the season without playing for them.

In 1996, Geordi joined the South Sydney Rabbitohs. He played for South Sydney for three seasons. Unfortunately, he continued to have problems with injuries. He did not play any games at all during the 1997 season. After the 1998 season, Geordi decided to retire from professional rugby league.
