George Brady was a Canadian businessman. He was also a survivor of the Holocaust, a terrible time in history. He was born on February 9, 1928, and passed away on January 11, 2019, at 90 years old.
George Brady's Life Story
George Brady was a brave survivor of the Holocaust. This was a time during World War II when many Jewish people were persecuted. George was held in two different camps: Theresienstadt (also known as Terezin) and Auschwitz (in Poland).
Life After the War
After World War II ended, George Brady moved to Canada. There, he became a successful businessman. He was recognized for his contributions and was given the Order of Ontario. This is a special award given to people who have done great things for the Canadian province of Ontario.
