George played as an infielder for several baseball teams, spending most of his time with the Lincoln Giants and Harrisburg Giants. Besides baseball, he was also part of a famous basketball team called the New York Renaissance Five.

George Fiall was known for his skills as an infielder in the Negro Leagues. During his time, baseball was segregated, meaning African American players could not play in the major leagues. He is buried at the Beverly Hills Cemetery in Peekskill, New York.
