George Kobayashi (小林 ジョージ, Kobayashi George, born November 29, 1947) is a former Japanese footballer. He was born in São Paulo, Brazil. He played as a midfielder, a player who helps both attack and defend on the field. George Kobayashi also played for the Japan national team.

George Kobayashi was born in Brazil on November 29, 1947. He later moved to Japan. In 1971, he joined a football club called Yanmar Diesel. This club was very successful during his time there.

Yanmar Diesel won the league championship three times. They were champions in 1971, 1974, and 1975. The team also won the Emperor's Cup in 1974. This is another important football competition in Japan.

George Kobayashi played for Yanmar Diesel until 1976, when he retired from playing club football. He played in 92 league games and scored 7 goals during his career with the club.
