George Pisi is a famous rugby union player from Samoa. He was born in Apia, Samoa, on June 29, 1986. He played for the Samoa national team. He also played for many clubs, including Northampton Saints in England.

Early Life and School
George moved to Auckland, New Zealand when he was three years old. He went to West Harbour Primary School. Later, he attended Massey High School. At Massey High, he was the captain of their rugby team. He even played for New Zealand Schools, showing his talent from a young age.
Club Rugby Career
George started his professional rugby journey in 2005. He played for North Harbour in New Zealand. His older brother, Tusi Pisi, also played alongside him there. George played 50 games for North Harbour.
Playing for the Blues
From 2006 to 2010, George played for the Blues. This is a team in the Super Rugby competition. He played 18 games for them.
Moving to Taranaki and France
In 2010, George moved to play for Taranaki. He played 17 games for this team. In 2011, he moved to France. He played for a club called Clermont for a short time.
Success with Northampton Saints
Later in 2011, George joined Northampton Saints in England. This is where he became very well known. In his first season, he was named in the Aviva Premiership Dream Team. This means he was one of the best players in the league. In 2014, George helped Northampton win the Premiership title. He even scored a try in the final game. He played 139 games for the Saints. George left Northampton Saints at the end of the 2016-2017 season.
International Rugby
George played for New Zealand at the Under 19 and Under 21 levels. But he chose to play for his home country, Samoa. He made his first appearance for the Samoa national team in June 2010. This was during the Pacific Nations Cup. He then went on to play in the 2011 Rugby World Cup. He also played in the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

George comes from a family of rugby players. Both of his brothers are also professional rugby players. His elder brother is Tusi Pisi. His younger brother is Ken Pisi. All three brothers went to Massey High School. They also all played for North Harbour. In 2012, Ken joined George at Northampton Saints, which was very special.
