George Pisi was born in Apia, Samoa, on June 29, 1986. He is a talented rugby union player who represented the Samoa national team. He played for many clubs during his career, including the Northampton Saints in England.

Early Life and School Rugby
George moved from Samoa to Auckland, New Zealand, when he was just three years old. He attended West Harbour Primary School. Later, he went to Massey High School. At Massey High, he was the captain of the school's rugby team. He also played for the New Zealand Schools team, showing his early talent.
Professional Club Career
Starting in New Zealand
George Pisi began his professional rugby journey in 2005. He played for North Harbour, a team in New Zealand. His older brother, Tusi Pisi, also played alongside him there. George played 50 games for North Harbour.
From 2006 to 2010, George also played for the Blues. This is a team in the Super Rugby competition. He played 18 games for the Blues. After North Harbour, he moved to play for Taranaki in 2010.
Moving to Europe
In February 2011, George moved to France. He played for a team called Clermont for a short time. Later that year, he signed with Northampton Saints in England. This was for the 2011-2012 season.
George quickly became a key player for Northampton. In his first season, he was even named in the Aviva Premiership Dream Team. This means he was one of the best players in the league. In 2014, George helped Northampton win the Premiership title. He scored a try in the final game against Saracens. He played 139 games for Northampton Saints. George left the club at the end of the 2016-2017 season.
Later Career
In 2018, George Pisi played for the Force team. This team is based in Australia. He played 4 games for them.
International Rugby for Samoa
George Pisi played for New Zealand at the Under-19 and Under-21 levels. However, he chose to represent his home country, Samoa, at the senior level. He made his debut for Samoa in June 2010. This was during the Pacific Nations Cup. He then went on to play in the 2011 Rugby World Cup. He also played in the 2015 Rugby World Cup. George played 21 games for Samoa in total.

George comes from a family of rugby players. Both of his brothers are also professional rugby players. His older brother is Tusi Pisi. His younger brother is Ken Pisi. Like George, both Tusi and Ken went to Massey High School. They also played for North Harbour. In 2012, Ken joined George at Northampton Saints, which was a special moment for the brothers.
