Georges Hausemer (born February 1, 1957 – died August 13, 2018) was a talented writer from Luxembourg. He wrote many different kinds of books, like short stories, novels, and travel guides. He also translated books from French, English, Spanish, and even Luxembourgish into German. Sometimes, he used a special pen name, Theo Selmer, and he was also an illustrator, drawing pictures for books.

Georges Hausemer was born in Differdange, Luxembourg, on February 1, 1957. He went to college to study journalism and languages in Salzburg and Mainz.

Since 1984, he worked on his own as a writer, translator, and travel writer. He lived in Esch-sur-Alzette. He often wrote articles and reports for newspapers in Luxembourg and other countries. He loved to travel a lot and wrote many books about his journeys.
