How Georgia Coffee is Advertised
Georgia coffee has used interesting ways to advertise. In 1991, characters from the TV show Twin Peaks appeared in a series of four commercials for Georgia coffee.
Later, in 2009, Coca-Cola created a special area in PlayStation Home. This was an online community for the PlayStation 3 game console. They placed a virtual vending machine there that took users to a "Georgia Break Station." This vending machine also gave out special items for players' online characters. It even gave out "C-pons," which were digital coupons. These coupons could be used to get real Georgia drinks from real vending machines! This special area was open from September to December 2009.
In 2012, Georgia coffee worked with Crypton Future Media for a "Digital × Real Campaign." This campaign featured the popular virtual singer Hatsune Miku.
