Georgina "Georgie" Parker (born 16 December 1964) is a famous Australian actress. She is well-known for her roles in popular TV shows, often called soap operas. Many people know her as Lucy Gardiner in A Country Practice, Terri Sullivan in All Saints, and Roo Stewart in Home and Away.
Georgie is a two-time Gold Logie winner, which is a very important award for Australian television stars. She has also been a presenter on the popular children's show Play School.

Georgie Parker was born in Sydney, Australia. She grew up in a suburb called St Ives. She went to St Ives North Public School and later attended Abbotsleigh School for Girls.

Acting Career
Starting on Television
Georgie's career began in the late 1980s. One of her first big roles was playing nurse Lucy Gardiner in the TV series A Country Practice from 1989 to 1992. This role made her a familiar face on Australian television. She also appeared in the comedy show Acropolis Now as a character named Despina.
In the mid-1990s, she played a young firefighter in the first season of the show Fire.
