Georgio Allentini, whose real name is George Allen, was born in 1966. He is better known by his stage name, Georgio. He is an American singer, songwriter, and musician who plays many instruments. Georgio is known for his funk and dance music. He is based in California. In 2003, Allentini also produced, directed, and starred in a movie called Tapped Out.

Georgio's Music Journey
Georgio always wanted to make music. He tried to join Prince's record company, Paisley Park Records. He sent them his demo songs, which are like sample recordings. However, this attempt was not successful.
In 1984, a famous record company called Motown Records became interested in Georgio. They eventually signed him to their label. Russ Regan, who was in charge of finding new artists for Motown, heard Georgio's song "Sexappeal" on the radio. He really liked it and wanted Motown to sign Georgio. Russ Regan said he felt there was "just something about him" after they met.
In 1987, Georgio had several songs that appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 music chart. While none of these songs reached very high on that chart, he was very successful on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. On this chart, he had four songs that made it into the Top 10. His song "Tina Cherry" even reached number one! In 1988, his song "Lover's Lane" also became popular in the UK Singles Chart, reaching number 54.
Georgio's Film Career
Georgio also became a filmmaker. In 2003, he released his movie Tapped Out. Famous actors like Coolio, Alex Avant, and Jimmy Bridges starred in the film. Georgio himself wrote, helped produce, and helped direct the movie. He also created the music for its soundtrack.
Georgio also appeared in a French documentary in 2000. It was called XX elles. He was in it with other people like Estelle Desanges and Lisa Guerlain.

Georgio Allentini was born in Texas in 1966. His mother worked as a salesperson in a store. His father was a Naval officer. When Georgio was 17 years old, he moved to Los Angeles. He is married to an actress named Kelly Jo Minter.
