Gerardo Daniel Torres Montante (born July 15, 1994), known as Gera MX, is a Mexican rapper. He is also called "El Cachorro 444." The number 444 is the postal code for his hometown. He was born in San Luis Potosí, Mexico.
His stage name "Gera" comes from the first four letters of his first name. "MX" stands for Mexico. Before using "MX," he was known as "Gera MXM." This name came from "Mexamafia," a popular Mexican music label at the time. Tankeone, a co-founder of Mexamafia, was a big inspiration for Gera MX's rap music.
