Gertrude Mary Woodward (1854–1939) was a talented British artist. She was known for her amazing scientific drawings. Gertrude's father, Henry Bolingbroke Woodward, was a geologist. Her sister, Alice B. Woodward, was also a famous illustrator.
Gertrude drew many ancient fossils and creatures. She worked for the Natural History Museum, London. Other scientists and artists really respected her work. They admired how accurate and beautiful her watercolour drawings were.
