Ghulam Shah Jeelani (Urdu: غلام شاہ جیلانی) was a Pakistani politician. He was born on August 7, 1957. He served as a member of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh. This is like being a representative for a region in Pakistan. He was a part of the assembly from August 2018 until he passed away.

Early Life and Education
Ghulam Shah Jeelani was born in Dadu, Sindh, Pakistan. His father was Pir Syed Allah Bux Shah Jilani. He studied at the University of Sindh. There, he earned a Master of Arts degree. His studies focused on International Politics. He was married and had two children.
Becoming a Politician
Ghulam Shah Jeelani wanted to help his community. He decided to become a politician. He joined the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). This is a big political group in Pakistan. In 2002, he first tried to win a seat. He ran for the Provincial Assembly of Sindh. He did not win that time.
His Time in Office
Ghulam Shah Jeelani tried again in 2008. He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of Sindh. He represented the Dadu-II area. He won with many votes. He was re-elected in 2013 for the same area.
In 2016, he got an important job. He became a special assistant. He worked for the Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah. This meant he helped the Chief Minister with special tasks.
He was elected again in 2018. This time, he represented the Dadu-IV area. He continued to serve in the Provincial Assembly.
Ghulam Shah Jeelani passed away on September 13, 2019. He was in a hospital in Karachi. He was buried in his village, Naig Sharif. This village is in the Naig Valley.
