Gienek Loska (born Henadzi Loska; 8 January 1975 – 9 September 2020) was a famous singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Poland. He was born in Byelaazyorsk, Belarus. Gienek became very well-known after he won the first season of X Factor in Poland in 2011.
He moved to Poland in the early 1990s. He lived in different cities like Białystok and Kraków. From 2004, he lived in Wrocław. Gienek was also known for playing music on the streets of big Polish cities.
His Music Journey
Gienek Loska was a co-founder of the blues-rock band Seven B. He was a member of this band for a long time. Later, he became the main singer and guitarist for the Gienek Loska Band. In 2009, he worked with Alek Mrozek, a well-known Polish composer, to record music.
TV Talent Shows
Gienek Loska appeared on several TV talent shows. These shows helped him share his amazing musical talent with more people.
- Szansa na sukces – He appeared on this show in 2004 with the band Wilki.
- Mam talent – the third series – He also took part in this show.
- X Factor Poland – the first series – In 2011, he won the top prize in this competition, which made him very famous.
Seven B Band
In 1990, Gienek Loska started a band called Seven B in Grodno. He formed the band with Andrei Makarewicz, also known as Makarem. When they came to Poland in 1992, the band played concerts in cities like Augustów and Białystok.
In 1993, they moved to Kraków and continued playing music together until 2005. The band usually performed as a group of five musicians. They recorded three albums: Rocktales, Make up your mind, and Acoustic. In 2006, the band broke up. After Seven B, Gienek Loska started the Gienek Loska Band, which became even more successful.

Gienek Loska released several albums during his career.
- Lepiej niż wczoraj (with Alek Mrożek) – This CD was released on 9 October 2009.
- Hazardzista – This album came out on 21 November 2011. It was very popular and sold over 15,000 copies, earning a Gold certification.
- Dom – This CD was released on 16 April 2013.
