Giovo (pronounced "JYO-vo") is a small town, also called a comune or municipality, in northern Italy. It's found in the beautiful region of Trentino, about 10 kilometers (6 miles) northeast of a bigger city called Trento. In the local language, it's known as Gióf.

Giovo is home to about 2,500 people and sits at an elevation of 495 meters (1,624 feet) above sea level. The main part of the town is called Verla, but there are also several smaller villages that make up the municipality, like Ceola, Masen, and Palù.
