Glass is a small community located about 8 miles west of Huntly in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Today, it is completely within Aberdeenshire. However, a long time ago, before Scotland changed its county borders in 1891, part of Glass was in a different area called Banffshire. The name Glass might come from an old Scottish language called Gaelic. It could mean "grey," "meadow," or "stream."

In 1801, about 793 people lived in Glass. By 1951, the population was 412. The children in Glass attend Glass Primary School. When they are older, they go to The Gordon Schools, Huntly for their high school education.
