Glenbrook railway station is a train station found in New South Wales, Australia. It's part of the important Main Western train line. This station helps people travel to and from Glenbrook, a lovely suburb in the famous Blue Mountains area.

A Look Back: Glenbrook Station's History
Glenbrook station first opened its doors on 11 May 1913. This happened after a new section of the railway line was built.
For many years, until October 1990, there was an extra track. This track was used for trains heading west, located across from Platform 2.
In December 2019, the station got a big upgrade. This included adding a brand new lift. This lift makes it much easier for everyone to access the platforms.

Glenbrook station has one special platform called an "island platform." This means it has tracks on both sides. You can catch trains from either side of this platform.
