Glenda Gilson (born on March 3, 1981) is a well-known Irish TV presenter and former model. She has worked on many popular shows in Ireland.
Career Highlights
Modeling Success
Glenda Gilson started her career as a model. In 2002, she represented Ireland in the Miss Hawaiian Tropic competition. She won the European title in Oahu. This success helped her appear in popular magazines. These included Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire.
Television Presenting
Glenda began her TV presenting journey in 2006. She became the face of the Irish music channel Bubble Hits. There, she hosted a news and entertainment show. It was called Glenda's Showbiz Gossip.
From 2008 to 2019, she was a presenter on Xposé. This was a popular entertainment show. She also appeared as a contestant on several reality shows. These included Celebrity Bainisteoir in 2008. In 2012, she was on Celebrity Salon.
Later, in 2017, Glenda hosted Ireland's Got Mór Talent. This was a show that went along with Ireland's Got Talent. She hosted it with social media star James Kavanagh. They returned for a second season in 2019.
In 2020, Glenda joined the fourth season of Dancing with the Stars in Ireland. She danced with professional partner Robert Rowiński. They were eliminated from the competition on January 26, 2020.

Glenda Gilson has family ties to politics. Her uncle was Liam Lawlor, a former politician. He passed away in 2005.
She was once in a well-known relationship. This was with former Irish rugby captain Brian O'Driscoll.
In August 2014, Glenda married Dublin businessman Rob MacNaughton. Their wedding took place in Kilrush, County Clare. Glenda and Rob have two sons together.
