Glenn Fabry (born March 24, 1961) is a British artist who draws and paints for comic books. He is known for his very detailed and realistic artwork. He often uses both ink and painted colors in his work.

Fabry's Career in Comics
Glenn Fabry started his career in 1985. He began drawing for the comic series Sláine in the magazine 2000 AD. He worked with writer Pat Mills on this project.
In 1987, Fabry also worked with Pat Mills on a newspaper comic strip called Scatha. Later, he created painted artwork for other comic magazines like Crisis, Revolver, and Deadline.
Working on Famous Comics
In 1991, Glenn Fabry started painting the covers for the comic series Hellblazer. At that time, the stories were written by Garth Ennis.
Fabry continued to work with Garth Ennis on many projects. He painted the covers for Ennis's popular Vertigo series Preacher. He also drew stories written by Ennis for comics like The Authority and Thor.
In 2003, Fabry drew a story for Endless Nights. This was a special collection of stories from Neil Gaiman's Sandman series. In 2005, he helped create a comic book version of Neil Gaiman's TV show and novel Neverwhere. For this, he worked with writer Mike Carey.
More recently, Glenn Fabry provided the artwork for the Vertigo comic Greatest Hits. This comic was written by David Tischman.
About His Health
In 2018, Glenn Fabry shared that he had a health problem. Doctors first thought it was one thing, but later found out it was actually tuberculosis. By January 2019, he reported that he was feeling much better and the illness was under control.
Awards and Recognition
- 1995: Glenn Fabry won the "Best Cover Artist" Eisner Award. This award was for his amazing work on the covers of Hellblazer.
