Glenn Ljungström was born on September 7, 1974. He is a talented Swedish guitarist from Nödinge-Nol. Glenn is known for playing guitar and writing music for several Swedish metal bands.
He was a key member of the melodic death metal band In Flames. He played with them from 1993 to 1997. Glenn decided to leave In Flames to find a more stable job. This helped him support his family.
Glenn also joined other bands. In 1995, he became part of HammerFall. He stayed with them until 1997. He also helped start a project called Dimension Zero with Jesper Strömblad. Glenn was a member of Dimension Zero until 2003. Later, from 2011 to 2015, he played guitar for a band called The Resistance. He worked with Jesper Strömblad and Marco Aro in this band too.

Playing with In Flames
Glenn was a founding member of In Flames. He helped create their early sound. He played on their first demo in 1993. He also contributed to their first album, Lunar Strain, in 1994. Other important releases he worked on include the Subterranean EP and the album The Jester Race. His last album with In Flames was Whoracle in 1997.
Time with HammerFall
After In Flames, Glenn joined the power metal band HammerFall. He played on their first full album, Glory to the Brave, released in 1997. He also contributed to the single of the same name.
Creating with Dimension Zero
Glenn co-founded Dimension Zero as a side project. He played on their first EP, Penetrations from the Lost World, in 1997. He also recorded two full albums with them: Silent Night Fever in 2001 and This Is Hell in 2003.
Later Work with The Resistance
From 2011, Glenn was the guitarist for The Resistance. He played on their EPs, Rise From Treason (2013) and Torture Tactics (2015). He also contributed to their albums Scars (2013) and Coup de grâce (2016).
