Gnarls Barkley is a music group made up of two talented artists: Danger Mouse, who is a DJ and music producer, and CeeLo Green, an American rapper. They became very famous in 2006 with their hit song Crazy. This song was so popular that Rolling Stone magazine called it one of the "Best Songs of the 2000s." Gnarls Barkley has released two albums: St. Elsewhere in 2006 and The Odd Couple in 2008.
Music Journey
In 2006, Gnarls Barkley released their very first album, called St. Elsewhere. It was a huge success, going straight to number one in the United Kingdom. The first song from this album, "Crazy," became the best-selling song of 2006 in the UK.
"Crazy" also won a Grammy Award in 2007 for Best Urban/Alternative Performance. In 2008, Gnarls Barkley released their second album, The Odd Couple. This album had a different sound, being less like pop music than their first one. It was also nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Album.
