Go Away, Unicorn! is a fun animated TV show from America and Canada. It's a children's television series made for YTV in Canada and Disney Channel in the US. The show was created by Emily Mullock.
It's about a girl named Alice and her best friend, a super energetic unicorn! They learn about their differences and how amazing friendships can be, even with the most unexpected people (or unicorns!). The show first aired in a special preview on September 7, 2018. It officially started on Disney Channel on February 8, 2019.

Story of the Show
The TV series Go Away, Unicorn! is based on a book by Emily Mullock. It tells the story of an 8-year-old girl named Alice. Her best friend is a very lively unicorn.
Together, Alice and Unicorn go on many adventures. They learn that even if you're very different from someone, you can still be great friends. The show teaches us that friendship can appear in surprising places!
The main characters are voiced by talented actors. Chris Diamantopoulos is the voice of Unicorn. Rebecca Husain voices Alice.
Alice also has other friends. Ollie is an Indian-Canadian boy. His dad was a spelling champion! Pixie is a very happy girl who loves pink glitter. She often throws it into the air!

- Alice (voiced by Rebecca Husain) – She's an 8-year-old girl. Alice is very determined and always wants to do her best.
- Unicorn (voiced by Chris Diamantopoulos) – He's a super cheerful and energetic unicorn. Unicorn often gets into silly situations, but he always helps Alice in the end.
- Ollie (voiced by Varun Saranga) – Ollie is an Indian-Canadian boy. His father was amazing at spelling in three languages when he was a kid!
- Pixie (voiced by Josette Halpert) – Pixie is a very happy and positive girl. She absolutely loves pink glitter and uses it often!
- Hugo (voiced by Jennifer Hale) – Hugo is Alice's baby brother.
- Tanya (voiced by Jennifer Hale) – Tanya is Alice and Hugo's mom.
How the Show Was Made
The idea for Go Away, Unicorn! started way back in 2013. It was planned as a joint project between Tricon Films & Television and Mercury Filmworks.
Later, in 2016, Sonar Entertainment bought the rights to the show. They teamed up with Nelvana to produce it. They planned to make 26 half-hour episodes. Each episode is made up of two 11-minute parts. They also made 10 short, one-minute videos.
The Canada Media Fund helped pay for the show's production. This helped bring Alice and Unicorn's adventures to life!

Where to Watch the Show
Go Away, Unicorn! was first shown in Canada on YTV in late 2018. It also aired in French Canada on Télétoon.
The show then started airing on Disney Channel in many countries around the world in January 2019. In the United States, it premiered on the American Disney Channel on March 3, 2019. You could also watch a preview of it on the DisneyNow streaming service in December 2018.
