Christopher "Chris" Diamantopoulos (born May 9, 1975) is a Canadian actor famous for his work in television, movies, and as a voice actor. He is well-known for playing the funny billionaire Russ Hanneman in the HBO series Silicon Valley.
Many people know him as the voice of Mickey Mouse in the modern Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts and The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse. For this role, he was nominated for two Emmy Awards. He also voiced Mickey in the special short film Once Upon a Studio. Additionally, he voices several characters in the popular animated show Invincible.

Early Life and Background
Chris Diamantopoulos was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. During his childhood, he spent time in both Canada and Greece. His family is of Greek heritage, and he is a member of the Greek Orthodox Church. He speaks the Greek language fluently.
From a young age, Chris was interested in acting. He started performing in TV commercials and professional plays when he was only nine years old.
Acting Career
Starting on Stage
When he was 18, Diamantopoulos began touring the United States with theater productions. He later moved to Broadway in New York City, which is famous for its major theaters. There, he had leading roles in big musicals like The Full Monty in 2002 and Les Misérables in 2003. In 2017, he returned to Broadway to star in the musical Waitress.
Television and Movie Roles
Chris has appeared in many popular TV shows. He played the Chief of Staff Rob Weiss in the action series 24 and had a role as Frank Sinatra in the miniseries The Kennedys.
He has also had memorable recurring roles in several comedy shows. He appeared in The Office as Brian, a sound guy for the documentary crew. He also played Marky Bark in Arrested Development and the TV network boss Castor Sotto in Episodes.
One of his most famous live-action roles was playing Moe Howard in the 2012 movie The Three Stooges, where he brought the classic comedy character to a new generation.
Becoming the Voice of Mickey Mouse
In 2013, Diamantopoulos was chosen to be the voice of Mickey Mouse for a new series of cartoon shorts. His voice for Mickey was designed to sound like Walt Disney's original voice for the character. He continued to voice Mickey in The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse and the 2023 film Once Upon a Studio, which celebrated 100 years of The Walt Disney Company.
He is also a talented voice actor in other animated shows. He voices Donald Ferguson and Doc Seismic in Invincible, and Storkules and Darkwing Duck in the 2017 DuckTales series.
Personal Life
Chris Diamantopoulos is married to actress Becki Newton. They met at a subway station in New York City and got married in 2005. The couple has four children together: a son born in 2010, and daughters born in 2014 and 2020.
