Concordia is where the Godwin-Austen Glacier meets another large glacier called the Baltoro Glacier. This spot is super popular for people who love to trek and hike. Why? Because from Concordia, you can see amazing views of four out of the five tallest mountains in Pakistan. These mountains are called "eight-thousanders" because they are over 8,000 meters (about 26,247 feet) high!
How to Visit the Glacier
To get close to the Godwin-Austen Glacier, most people start their journey from a town called Skardu. Skardu is an important town in the Balti region of Pakistan.
