Goey Pond, also called Goey's Pond or Little Pond, is a small lake. You can find it in Otsego County, New York. It's located northwest of the village of Milford.

About Goey Pond
Goey Pond is a quiet place. Only one road, Goey Pond Road, leads to it. This road is not kept clear in winter. There are no houses built along the lake's edge.
What Lives in the Pond?
Many types of fish live in Goey Pond. You might find largemouth bass and smallmouth bass. Other fish include pumpkinseed, chain pickerel, and brown bullhead.
How Deep is Goey Pond?
The deepest part of Goey Pond is about 47 feet. This pond was formed naturally. At one time, a dam was built there. This dam made the pond deeper by about 15 to 25 feet.
Goey Pond's History
Long ago, Goey Pond was the source of drinking water for the village of Milford. Experts first studied the pond in 1965. In 1967, Milford asked for money to put a pipeline deeper into the pond.
Rules at the Pond
Today, Milford village does not use Goey Pond for its water. However, the village still owns the pond. They might use it for water in the future. Because of this, certain activities are not allowed. You cannot swim, boat, or fish in the pond. Entering the pond area without permission is also not allowed.
