Govind Padmasoorya, known to many as GP, is an actor from India. He is famous for his work in movies from Malayalam cinema and Telugu films. He was born on June 16, 1987.
GP started his acting journey in 2008 with the movie Atayalangal. This film won five Kerala State awards, including Best Film. He became very popular after hosting the dance reality show D 4 Dance. He also directed a special video for the Malayalam TV channel Asianet to celebrate its 25th anniversary. His first Telugu film was Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, where he acted alongside Allu Arjun.

Govind Padmasoorya began his acting career in 2008. His first movie was Atayalangal, where he played the main character. This film was about the life of a writer named Nandanar.
