How Grace Church Started
Grace Church began in September 2002. It was started by Nick and Penny Sharp. They wanted to create a new church in Nottingham. At first, the church met in their home. As more people joined, they moved to bigger places. They met in the Rose and Crown Pub in Lenton. Then they moved to the John Carroll Leisure Centre in Radford.
In 2003, the church found a new home. They moved into a building at Meadow Lane. This building used to be home to another church. Being at the stadium helped the church host a big youth festival. It was called Newday and happened in 2005. About 6,000 young people attended. This event also helped the church plan many community projects. They worked with Nottingham City Council to help the city.
In November 2009, Grace Church bought a new building. It was an old government building. It used to be for helping people find jobs. They renamed it 'The Ministry'. This news was even in the local newspapers. A local Member of Parliament (MP), Lilian Greenwood, officially opened the building in September 2010. Grace Church has been at 'The Ministry' ever since. It is located at 1 Castle Boulevard.

Who Attends Grace Church

The church is led by a team of six elders. They also have a staff team and trustees. The church believes in teaching from the Bible. They also have lively and modern worship music. They try to follow what they believe the Holy Spirit leads them to do. They have three services on Sundays. These are at 9 AM, 11 AM, and 7 PM.
