A Look at Graham's History and Landmarks
One of the most famous landmarks in Graham was Butler's Mill. This mill was built in 1912. It was a cotton gin, which is a machine that separates cotton fibers from their seeds. This was a very important job when cotton farming was a big deal in the area. The mill was located right on the Little Tallapoosa River. Sadly, Butler's Mill burned down on October 17, 2016. Even though it's gone, it remains an important part of Graham's history.
