An "unincorporated community" means it's a group of homes and buildings that isn't officially a town or city with its own local government. This community is found on the west side of Honey Creek, which is a small stream that flows into Beaver Creek. You can find Granada about 1.5 miles north of Missouri Route 14 on a county road.

History of Granada

The community of Granada had its own post office. It was first opened in 1894. A post office is where people send and receive mail. This post office served the community for many years. However, it closed down in 1922. The name "Granada" was chosen because it is the same name as a famous city in Granada, Spain.
