Grand Duchess Anna Pavlovna of Russia (Russian: Анна Павловна) was a very important person. She was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on January 18, 1795. She later became the Queen of the Netherlands.
Anna Pavlovna was the mother of William III of the Netherlands. He later became king. She was also the grandmother of Wilhelmina of the Netherlands. Wilhelmina became queen much later. Anna's father was Paul I. He was the Emperor of Russia. Anna lived a long life, reaching 70 years old. She passed away in The Hague on March 1, 1865.
