What Remains of Gratiot's Grove Today?

Even though Gratiot's Grove is no longer a bustling mining town or a frontier fort, its history lives on. The original Gratiot House, which was part of the settlement, still stands today. You can find it south of Shullsburg on Rennick Road. It serves as a reminder of the early pioneers and the events that shaped Wisconsin.
