Flowers and Fruit
The flowers of the Greenspot Nightshade grow in a special cluster. This cluster looks like an umbel, which is shaped like an umbrella. The flowers are white and shaped like stars. Each flower can be up to one centimeter wide.

Long ago, Native American people used this plant. They used the juice from the berries as medicine. The Luiseño people, a Native American group, also used the berry juice. They used it as a dye for tattooing.
