Grim & Evil is a fun American cartoon show created by Maxwell Atoms for Cartoon Network. It's actually two different shows combined into one! These two parts eventually became their own separate series: The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy and Evil Con Carne.
The show first aired on August 24, 2001. It finished its original run on October 18, 2002. Later, more episodes were made and shown when the two parts became separate shows in 2003.

What's the Show About?
Grim & Evil is special because it combines two different cartoon stories. Each episode usually has a part from The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy and a part from Evil Con Carne. Sometimes, it's two "Billy & Mandy" stories wrapped around one "Evil Con Carne" story.
The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy
This part of the show is about two kids, Billy and Mandy. Billy is a silly and happy boy, while Mandy is a very smart and emotionless girl. They meet the Grim Reaper, who is the actual "Grim" from the show's title.
Their adventure begins when Grim comes to take Billy's pet hamster. Billy and Mandy challenge Grim to a game of Limbo. If they win, Grim has to spare the hamster and become their "best friend forever." They win the game, and Grim, the powerful Messenger of Death, is stuck being their friend. This means he has to do their chores and go on all sorts of crazy adventures with them!
Evil Con Carne
This segment is about a supervillain named Hector Con Carne. He wants to take over the world, but there's a problem: he was in a huge explosion! Now, his brain and stomach are separated from his body.
His brain is placed on the head of a slow-witted circus bear named Boskov. His stomach also has a mind of its own! Hector, with the help of his mad scientist, Major Doctor Ghastly, and his grumpy general, General Skarr, tries to achieve world domination. But it's hard when you're just a brain on a bear!

Main Characters
From The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy
- The Grim Reaper (voiced by Greg Eagles): Grim is super old, over 137,000 years old! He speaks with a Jamaican accent. His scythe is very powerful and gives him his magic. He's stuck being Billy and Mandy's friend after losing a bet.
- Billy (voiced by Richard Horvitz): Billy is an 8-year-old boy who is very happy but not very smart. He has a big pink nose and wears a striped shirt and a red hat. He sees Grim as his best friend and often tells him so.
- Mandy (voiced by Grey DeLisle): Mandy is a girl about Billy's age. She is very smart, cynical, and doesn't show much emotion. She hates almost everything, especially unicorns! She rarely smiles, and when she does, strange things can happen. She often makes Grim and Billy do her chores.
From Evil Con Carne
- Hector Con Carne (voiced by Phil LaMarr): Hector is a villain who wants to rule the world. After an explosion, he's just a brain and a stomach. His brain is attached to a bear named Boskov.
- Major Dr. Ghastly (voiced by Grey DeLisle): She is a brilliant mad scientist. She creates all of Hector's inventions and plans. She seems more interested in inventing and being close to Hector than world domination.
- General Skarr (voiced by Armin Shimerman): Skarr is Con Carne's tough and mean military leader. He has a scar on his face and only one eye. He often tries to take over from Hector. You might also see him in The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy as Billy's neighbor!
- Boskov (voiced by Frank Welker): Boskov is a former Russian circus bear. He carries Hector's brain and stomach. He's usually controlled by Hector but can be difficult because he's still a bear with animal instincts.
- Stomach (voiced by Armin Shimerman): This is Hector Con Carne's old stomach. It only talks when it's about food!
