Phil LaMarr is a talented American actor and comedian. He is famous for his amazing voice work in many popular cartoons and video games. You might know him as the main character in Samurai Jack, or as Green Lantern and Static in the DC Animated Universe shows. He also voiced Hermes Conrad in Futurama and Wilt in Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
Phil LaMarr was also one of the first actors on the funny TV show Mad TV. He has appeared in movies like Pulp Fiction (1994) and Spider-Man 2 (2004). He has lent his voice to many video game series, including Metal Gear, Final Fantasy, and Mortal Kombat.

Phil LaMarr is very well-known for his voice acting. He played Green Lantern in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. He was also the main character in Samurai Jack and Static Shock.
He voiced Hermes Conrad in Futurama and played this character again in the Futurama movies. He also voiced Wilt in Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and Carver Descartes on The Weekenders. You might also know him as Osmosis Jones in the TV show Ozzy & Drix.
Phil LaMarr has voiced characters in many other cartoons. These include Jazz in Transformers Animated and Jedi Master Kit Fisto in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He played Sig and Count Veger in the Jak and Daxter game series. He was also John White, also known as The Beast, in the Infamous games. In Darksiders, he voiced the merchant Vulgrim.
He voiced Sam B, one of the main characters in Dead Island. He also played Phoebus in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. Phil LaMarr voiced Aquaman and Green Lantern in the fighting games Injustice: Gods Among Us (2013) and Injustice 2 (2017). He also voiced Kotal Kahn in Mortal Kombat X (2015) and Mortal Kombat 11 (2019). In 2023, he voiced Geras in Mortal Kombat 1.
Awards and recognition
Phil LaMarr has won several awards for his voice acting. In 2012, he won a Behind the Voice Actors Award for Best Vocal Ensemble in a Television Series for Futurama. He won the same award again in 2013 for Futurama and Young Justice. In 2015, he won a NAVGTR Award for his supporting performance in the game Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. He also won a Behind the Voice Actors Award in 2017 for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and in 2018 for Samurai Jack. In 2018, he was named Voice Actor of the Year by Behind the Voice Actors.
