The Metal Gear series is a super popular set of video games made by Konami. These games are known for their stealth action style, which means you have to be sneaky and avoid being seen by enemies.

The main hero in most of the games is a soldier named Solid Snake. He goes on secret missions all by himself, often trying to sneak past guards instead of fighting them. He's like a super spy! A big part of the story is about Solid Snake and another famous soldier called Big Boss. Many players feel like they are watching an exciting spy movie or reading a thrilling book when they play these games.

The name "Metal Gear" comes from a special type of giant robot tank that appears in each game. Solid Snake usually has to find a way to stop or destroy these powerful machines.

The newest game in the series is Metal Gear Survive. It was made for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
