The Grimsby & Immingham Electric Railway was a special kind of electric railway. It connected the town of Grimsby with the village of Immingham in Lincolnshire, England. This railway was like a tram system, but it didn't run on busy streets. Instead, it had its own dedicated path, much like a small train line.
People sometimes called it an "Inter-Urban" railway. This means it linked different towns or cities, rather than just moving people around inside one city. It was a very important way for people to travel between Grimsby and Immingham for many years.
