Grover is a friendly and furry Muppet monster from the famous TV show Sesame Street. He often describes himself as lovable and cute. When he talks or sings, he usually speaks in a very clear way, rarely using contractions like "don't" or "can't."

Who Plays Grover?

Grover was first brought to life by Frank Oz, a talented puppeteer. Frank Oz was the main performer for Grover from the very beginning until 2001.

Later, another performer named Eric Jacobson started playing Grover in 1998. Since 2002, Eric Jacobson has regularly performed Grover, though Frank Oz still sometimes plays him for special appearances.
