The Guadiela is a river in Spain. It is an important branch of the Tagus river, joining it from the left side. The Guadiela is one of the main rivers that feed the upper part of the Tagus.

Where the Guadiela River Flows
The Guadiela river starts in a mountain range called the Serranía de CuencaCueva del Hierro, at a spot known as Fuente Pinilla.

Joining the Tagus
The Guadiela river eventually flows into the Tagus river. This happens at the Bolarque reservoir. This reservoir is located right on the border between the provinces of Cuenca and Guadalajara.
Upstream, meaning further along the river before it reaches the Tagus, the Guadiela is held back by the Buendía reservoir
