Guest is a small place in DeKalb County, Alabama, United States. It is known as an unincorporated community. This means it's a group of homes and people that are part of a larger county, but it doesn't have its own separate local government like a city or town.
History
The community of Guest was probably named after a local family who lived there a long time ago.
In 1892, a special building called a post office opened in Guest. This allowed people in the community to send and receive mail easily. However, the post office stayed open for only a few years. It closed down in 1905.
