Guilherme Boratto (born in 1974) is a talented Brazilian electronic music producer. He creates music using computers and special electronic instruments.
In the 1990s, he was a member of a dance music group called Sect. This group played a style of music known as Eurodance.
His first solo album was named Chromophobia. It was very popular and was even chosen as "album of the month" by Mixmag, a well-known music magazine. Since then, Gui Boratto has released seven more full-length albums. He has also put out many shorter music collections called EPs and single songs.
Gui Boratto also has his own record label, which is like a company that helps musicians release their music. His label is called D.O.C. and it works with another company called Kompakt. The first music group he signed to his label was a Brazilian electronic duo named Elekfantz.
When Gui Boratto performs live, he uses a laptop with special music software called Ableton Live. He also uses cool electronic devices like a JazzMutant Lemur, a monome, and an Akai APC40. Sometimes, he invites guest guitar players to join him on stage.
