Guilherme Boratto (born in 1974) is a talented musician and producer from Brazil. He creates electronic music, which is music made using electronic instruments and computers.
In the 1990s, he was part of a music group called Sect. This group played a type of dance music popular in Europe called Eurodance.
Gui Boratto's first solo album, Chromophobia, was a big hit. A famous music magazine called Mixmag even named it their "album of the month." Since then, he has released many more albums and songs.
He also owns his own record label called D.O.C. A record label is a company that helps musicians record and release their music. His label works with another company called Kompakt to share the music. The first artists he signed to his label were a Brazilian electronic music duo named Elekfantz.
When Gui Boratto performs live, he uses special computer programs and equipment. He often uses a laptop with Ableton Live, which is a program for making and performing music. He also uses cool devices like a JazzMutant Lemur, a monome, and an Akai APC40. Sometimes, other guitar players join him on stage to add to the music.
