Guilhem Guirado (born on June 17, 1986) is a former French rugby union player. He played as a hooker. Guilhem had a long career, playing for 17 years. He was part of teams like Perpignan, Toulon, and Montpellier. From 2016 to 2019, he was also the captain of the French national rugby team.

Guilhem Guirado's Rugby Journey
Guilhem Guirado started his professional rugby career in 2005. He joined the Perpignan team. Before that, he played for a junior team called Arles-sur-Tech.
Early Career and National Team
In 2006, Guilhem was chosen to play for the French Under 21 (U21) team. He played in all their matches during the 2006 Under 21 Rugby World Championship. This included the big final game against South Africa.
Three years later, in 2009, he helped Perpignan win a major championship. They won their 7th Top 14 title. They beat Clermont with a score of 22–13. The next year, Perpignan reached the final again but lost to Clermont.
Guilhem's great playing in 2008–09 led to him being picked for the French national team. He played his first game for France in March 2008. He came on as a substitute against Italy. France won that game 25–13.
His first time starting a game for France was his sixth cap. He started as a hooker against Fiji in 2010. He was also part of the French team that finished second in the 2011 Rugby World Cup. They lost to the All Blacks in the final. Guilhem played in one game during that World Cup, against Canada.
Moving to Toulon and Captaincy
After the 2013–14 season, Guilhem joined Toulon. Toulon was a very strong team at the time. They were champions of both Europe and France. By this time, Guilhem was the main hooker for the French national team. He started every game against Australia during France's tour in 2014. His first game for Toulon was a 29–15 win against Bayonne.
Guilhem also played in the 2015 Rugby World Cup. France had a tough tournament and lost badly to New Zealand in the quarter-finals.
In 2015, a new coach, Guy Novès, took over the national team. He made Guilhem the captain. Under Guilhem's leadership, the team started to play better. People praised Guilhem for his great attitude and how professional he was. His coach, Guy Novès, even said Guilhem would likely be captain for a long time.
Guilhem Guirado stopped playing international rugby in 2022.
