Early Life and Education

Gyula Juhász started writing poems when he was young. His very first poems were printed in a newspaper called Szegedi Napló in 1899. This was a big step for him as a young writer.

From 1902 to 1906, he studied at the University of Budapest. This was an important time in his life. There, he met other future famous writers. These friends included Mihály Babits and Dezső Kosztolányi. They all became important figures in Hungarian literature.
