Güler Sabancı (born 1955) is a very successful Turkish businesswoman. She is part of the Sabancı family, who own a huge company called Sabancı Holding. This company is one of the biggest in Turkey, dealing with many different industries and finances. Güler Sabancı is the chairperson of this large family business. In 2023, Forbes magazine named her the 77th most powerful woman in the world.

Early Life and Education
Güler Sabancı was born in 1955 in Adana, Turkey. Her parents were İhsan Sabancı and Yüksel Sabancı. She finished high school at TED Ankara College in Ankara.
After high school, she studied business administration at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul. This education helped her prepare for a career in the business world.
Starting Her Career
In 1978, Güler Sabancı began her professional journey. She started at LasSA, a company that makes tires. This company was owned by her family. LasSA is located in Kocaeli Province.
Later, she became the general manager of KordSA. She held this important role for 14 years. After that, Güler Sabancı joined the board of directors at Sabancı Holding. She was in charge of the tires and special materials group. She also helped with human resources for the company.
Leading Sabancı Holding
Today, Güler Sabancı is the chairwoman and managing director of Sabancı Holding. This is one of the most respected business groups in Turkey. She has worked in many different parts of the company.
She is also the founding president of the Sabancı University. She leads the Sakip Sabancı Museum and the Sabancı Foundation. The Sabancı Foundation is a major private charity in Turkey. Güler Sabancı is the first and only woman member of the European Round Table of Industrialists (ERT).
In 2013, Fortune magazine listed her as the second most powerful woman in business outside the USA. She has won many awards for her charity work and leadership. These include the David Rockefeller Bridging Leadership Award and the Clinton Global Citizen Award.
In 2012, Güler Sabancı joined the board of the United Nations Global Compact. This is a top advisory group for the UN that includes businesses and other organizations. Forbes magazine recognized her as one of the most powerful women in the world in both 2022 and 2023.
