Hacı Sabancı (born June 25, 1935 – died June 26, 1998) was a well-known Turkish businessman. He was also a philanthropist, meaning he gave money to help others. Hacı Sabancı was part of the famous Sabancı family, who built one of Turkey's biggest companies.
He was born in Akçakaya village, in the Kayseri area of Turkey. He was the third son of Hacı Ömer Sabancı. His father started Sabancı Holding, which became Turkey's second largest business group.
Hacı Sabancı grew up and spent most of his life in Adana. He left secondary school early to start working. He began his career in his family's businesses. These included companies that sold cars and exported cotton. Later, he held many important leadership jobs within Sabancı Holding. He also led the board of trustees for the Sabancı Foundation, called VakSA.

Hacı Sabancı married Özcan in 1959. They had two sons and one daughter. Their sons were named Ömer, born in 1959, and Mehmet, born in 1963. Their daughter was named Demet.
Later Years and Passing
Hacı Sabancı passed away on June 26, 1998. This was just one day after his 63rd birthday. He died in Istanbul after battling a serious illness for two years. He was buried in Adana.
