Hailey Frances Kilgore is a talented American actress and singer. She became well-known for her amazing role as Ti Moune in the Broadway musical Once on This Island. For this part, she was nominated for a Tony Award in 2018. She was only 19 years old, making her one of the youngest people ever nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical!

Hailey Kilgore's Early Life
Hailey Frances Kilgore was born in Humble, Texas. She was adopted when she was a baby by Rebecca and Eric Kilgore. Her family lived in Portland, Oregon, and later moved to Happy Valley when she was in elementary school.
Growing Up and Pageants
Hailey started competing in pageants when she was nine years old. In 2012, she won the title of National American Miss Oregon Pre-Teen. She also won a national competition for spokesmodels. Later, in 2015, she won the Miss Oregon's Outstanding Teen competition.
School and Performances
Hailey went to Clackamas High School for two years. Then, she switched to the Clackamas Web Academy, where she finished high school a year early. While in high school, Hailey performed in many plays. She also took part in the Portland August Wilson Monologue Competition in 2014 and 2015. In 2015, she placed second and got to perform in New York City. Hailey was also a leader for the Rose City Riveters, cheering on the Portland Thorns FC soccer team.
Hailey Kilgore's Acting Career
Hailey Kilgore started her professional acting career in theater. Her first big role was in 2015.
First Theater Roles
Hailey made her first professional stage appearance in the fall of 2015. She played Rebecca Gibbs in Our Town at Portland Center Stage. In the same year, she also performed in another show there called Ain't Misbehavin'.
Broadway Debut
Hailey was a first-year student at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York. While she was studying, she got the amazing role of Ti Moune. This was for the Broadway revival of Once on This Island. This role made her a Broadway star!
