Hal Patrick Riney (born July 17, 1932 – died March 24, 2008) was a very talented American advertising expert. He was born in Seattle, Washington. He started his own advertising company, Publicis & Hal Riney.
Who Was Hal Riney?
Hal Riney was known for creating memorable advertisements. He was even named one of the top 100 people of the 20th century by Advertising Age, a big magazine about advertising. In 2001, he was added to the Advertising Hall of Fame, which is a special place for people who have done amazing things in advertising.
His Famous Work
One of his most famous roles was narrating, or speaking, for Ronald Reagan's presidential re-election ads in 1984. These ads were called "Morning in America" and "Bear in the Woods." They helped President Reagan get re-elected.
Later Life
Hal Riney passed away at age 75 on March 24, 2008. He died from cancer at his home in San Francisco, California.
